4y = 3x + 11
y = 3x/4 + 11/4
f(x) = 3x/4 + 11/4 or f(x) = 0.75x + 2.75

Hello Ashley,
to form this equation you must isolate x from y,
-3x + 4y = 11
4y=11+3x
y=(11/4)+(3/4)x
so f(x)=(11/4)+(3/4)x
