Question 568532: Which of the following is NOT included in the domain of f(x)=6x+2 divided by x square-9? a.3 b.-3,3 c.9 d.-3
Answer by jim_thompson5910(35256)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Since you CANNOT divide by zero, this means that x^2-9 cannot be zero. Notice how x=-3 and x=3 make x^2-9 zero. So they are NOT in the domain.

So the answer is choice B
