Factor: (3mp - 12mr)-(4nr - np)
=3m(p-4r) - n(4r-p)
=3m(p-4r)+n(p-4r)
=(p-4r)(3m+n)

Answer by Earlsdon(6294) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Factor:
From the first set of parentheses, you can factor 3m and from the second set of parentheses you can factor n to give you:
You can change the second term fromto + to give you:
Now you can factor the to get:
...and you're done!
