Question 530407: find the zeros of the function given by
f(x)=2x^2-11x+15

Answer by jim_thompson5910(35256)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
f(x)=2x^2-11x+15

0=2x^2-11x+15

2x^2-11x+15=0

2x^2-6x-5x+15=0

2x(x-3)-5(x-3)=0

(2x-5)(x-3)=0

2x-5=0 or x-3=0

2x=5 or x=3

x=5/2 or x=3

So the zeros are 5/2 and 3
