f(x) = 2[x] (ceiling function) for the domain -2 < x < 1 (the less than signs are less than or equal to). I would appreciate your help. I am having a lot of trouble on this problem and the help would be great. Thank you.

If you mean f(x) = 2|x|
It's the same as any other graph. Pick values for x and find y. Plot the points, draw a straight line thru them.
In this case, the graph is limited, from x > -2 to x <1
