Answer by ankor@dixie-net.com(22740)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
determine the intercepts of "14x + 7y = 21."
put the equation in the slope/intercept form
7y = -14x + 21
simplify, divide by 7
y = -2x + 3
y intercept occurs when x = 0
y = -2(0) + 3
y = 3
:
X intercept occurs when y = 0
-2x + 3 = 0
-2x = -3
x =
x = +1.5
