Question 455936: f(x)=(3-5x)^2...find f^-1(x)

Answer by edjones(8007) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
f(x)=(3-5x)^2
y=25x^2-30x+9
x=25y^2-30y+9
-25y^2+30y=-x+9
25y^2-30y=x-9
5y(5y-6)=x-9
5y=x-9, y=(x-9)/5,
5y=x-3, y=(x-3)/5
f^(-1)(x)=(x-9)/5, f^(-1)(x)=(x-3)/5
