f(x)=x^2+4x-6

Answer by stanbon(75887)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Determine the domain of the following:
f(x)=x^2+4x-6
The only times you have a restricted domain is
when you have a radicand with a variable or
a denominator with a variable.
The radicand cannot be negative---that restricts the domain.
The denominator cannot be zero---that restricts the domain.
Your problem has neither a radicand or a denominator, so
the domain is "ALL REAL NUMBERS".
