Question 413678: I am having a hard time with composition of functions can someone please explain to me how to solve them here is the problem: Given that f(x)=8x+2 and g(x)=6−x2, calculate
(a) f(g(0))=
(b) g(f(0))=
I just don"t know... thanks
Answer by sudhanshu_kmr(1152) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
(a) f(g(0))
g(0) = 6- 0^2 = 6
f(g(0)) = f(6)
= 8*6+2
= 50
(b) g(f(0))
f(0) = 8* 0 + 2 = 2
similarly, g(2) = 6 - 2^2
= 2
