Question 407883: Find the range of f(x) = -2x^2 + 4 for the domain (-3, 0, 2)
Answer by jim_thompson5910(35256) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Simply plug in each value from the domain to get corresponding values in the range.
So plug in x=-3 to get f(-3)=-2(-3)^2+4 = -14
Plug in x=0 to get f(0)=-2(0)^2+4 = 4
Plug in x=2 to get f(-2)=-2(2)^2+4 = -4
So the range is {-14, -4, 4}
