Please verify what exactly your denominator is in each; it can be read two seperate ways: I prefromed the operation in this equation, repost, using parenthasis, if the x belongs beside the fraction.

Find the LCD (least common denominator) of (5)/(2x)+(1)/(4x)+(11)/((x+4)).
Least common denominator: 4x(x+4)
Multiply each term in the equation by 4x(x+4) in order to remove all the denominators from the equation.
(5)/(2x)*4x(x+4)+(1)/(4x)*4x(x+4)=(11)/(x+4)*4x(x+4)
Simplify the left-hand side of the equation by canceling the common factors.
11x+44=(11)/(x+4)*4x(x+4)
Simplify the right-hand side of the equation by simplifying each term.
11x+44=44x
Since 44x contains the variable to solve for, move it to the left-hand side of the equation by subtracting 44x from both sides.
11x+44-44x=0
Since 11x and -44x are like terms, add -44x to 11x to get -33x.
-33x+44=0
Since 44 does not contain the variable to solve for, move it to the right-hand side of the equation by subtracting 44 from both sides.
-33x=-44
Divide each term in the equation by -33.
-(33x)/(-33)=-(44)/(-33)
Simplify the left-hand side of the equation by canceling the common factors.
x=-(44)/(-33)
Simplify the right-hand side of the equation by simplifying each term.
x=(4)/(3)
