Question 387503: How do you graph y=-1/2x to the third power?
Answer by Jk22(389) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
let y(x)=-1/2x^3
behaviour at infinity :
x->+00 => y->-oo
x->-oo => y->+oo
y'(x)=-3/2x^2
y'=0 => x=0 => stationary point at x=0, y=0
y''(0)=-3x => saddle point at x=0
hence the graph is :
