s[h(x)] if s(x) = 2x and h(x) = x2,
s[h(x)]=2h(x)=2x^2 (x2 is supposed x^2)

They give you s[h(x)] in the brackets.

They also tell us that h(x) = x^2.


Replace h(x) in the brackets with x^2.


Doing so we get s[x^2].


We also know that s(x) = 2x.


Now replace x in s(x) with x^2.


s(x^2) = 2x


s(x^2) = 2(x^2)


s(x^2) = 2x^2.


Answer = 2x^2.
