Question 34421: find the domain of the sqrt (3-x)/x
Answer by venugopalramana(3286)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
LET Y =SQRT{(3-X)/X}THIS IS THE PROBLEM OR IS IT {SQRT(3-X)}/X..PLEASE PUT BRACKETS APPROPRIATELY..OK LET US TAKE
Y={SQRT(3-X)}/X
SO (3-X) CAN NOT BE NEGATIVE..THAT IS 3>=X...OR....X<=3
FURTHER WE HAVE X IN DENOMINATOR ..HENCE X SHOULD NOT BE ZERO.
SO DOMAIN OF THE FUNCTION IS X<=3 BUT NOT EQUAL TO ZERO.
