Question 333193: what is the domain of
(2,-3)(-1,0)(0,4)(-1,5)(4,-2)

domain refers to all the elements that are defined for a given relation/function
in this case the only inputs that have corresponding outputs are x=2,-1,0,4 and so this makes the domain for this RELATION
Notice how there are five ordered pairs but the domain only contains four values. this implies that one of the values must have two outputs, in this case, x=-1 outputs values y=0 and y=5
Since this input has more than one output it is said to be a relation and not a function
