3) 56x -18x+ x^2= 17
4) sqrt (9) = sqrt (35)

ARE YOU SURE YOU HAVE COPIED THESE PROPLEMS CORRECTLY???
SOME OF THEM DON'T MAKE ANY SENSE (NUMBERS 2 & 4).

X^2-2X-7-2.236=0
X^2-2X-9.236=0 USING THE QUADRATIC EQUATION BELOW WE GET:

X=(2+-SQRT[-2^2-4*1*-9.236])/2*1
X=(2+-SQRT[4+36.944)/2
X=(2+-SQRT40.944)/2
X=(2+-6.399)/2
X=(2+6.399)/2
X=8.399/2
X=4.199 ANS.
X=(2-6.399)/2
X=-4.399/2
X=-2.199 ANS.
2) 3/5 = sqrt (9)
3/5=3
3=5*3
3=15 DOES NOT COMPUTE.
3) 56x -18x+ x^2= 17
38X+X^2-17=0
X^2+38X-17=0

X=(-38+-SQRT[38^2-4*1*-17])/2*1
X=(-38+-SQRT[1,444+68])/2
X=-38+-SQRT1,512)/2
