calculate the value of g(x)for x=0,1,-2: if g(x)=x+3/x-1.
g(x)=x+3/(x-1)----(1)
x =0 in (1)
g(0) = 0 +3/(0-1) = 3/(-1) = -3
Therefore g(0) =-3.
x =1 in (1)
g(1) = 1 +3/(1-1) = 3/0 Does not exist
(division by zer is not defined)
Therefore g(1) does not exist..
x =-2 in (1)
g(-2) = (-2) +3/[(-2)-1] = -2+3/(-3) = -2-1 = -3
Therefore g(-2) = -3.
