Question 29371: what is the constant of variation if y varies directly as x, and y=95 when x=19?
Answer by stanbon(75887)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
If y varies directly as x then y=kx for some "k".
Substituting your values you get 95=k(19)
So k=95/19
