Question 259163: My question is in regards to graphing linear functions.
I need to graph y=2/3x-4 I am unsure how to graph it. Could you also explain why I graph it the way I do based on that formula. Thanks a lot. ANy help is appreciated.

Answer by rfer(16322)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
you have a slope intercept equation
y=mx+b
y=2/3x-4
y int= -4 (0,-4)
m=slope=2/3 the rise over the run
so next point is (3,-2)
