Yuo don't say whether the box is open (no top) or closed. Let's assume that it is a closed box so we include the area of the top in the total surface area (SA).
The total surface area comprises the sum of the areas of the base & top, the back & front, and the two sides.
SA = 2(LW + WH + LH) Where: L = Length, W = Width, and H = Height.
