Answer by ankor@dixie-net.com(22740) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
A=1/2h(b1+b2), solve for b2
:
*h(b1 + b2) = A
:
Multiply both sides by 2
h(b1 + b2) = 2A
:
Multiply what's inside the brackets by h
h*b1 + h*b2 = 2A
:
subtract h*b1 from both sides
hb2 = 2a - hb1
:
Divide both sides by h
b2 =
