YES..SINCE Y=X^2...GIVES UNIQUE IMAGES...THAT IS SAME VALUE OF X WILL NOT GIVE RAISE TO 2 DIFFERENT VALUES OF Y.THAT IS Y1 IS NOT EQUAL TO Y2 ,IT IMPLIES X1 IS NOT EQUAL TO X2.
