B. W < 12

you know width cannot be zero .it should some thing more than zero so w>0...
now length is w+12..so length shoul be more than 0+12 or that is more than 12...so length >12 and width >0..now to your 4 choices ..they are not compatible with question.which mentions domain of length it is >12 as we saw but the symbol shown in answers is w always which stands for width as per our problem and whi=ch needs to be >0 ..so symbol wise A...W>0 is correct ,but problem write up wise length >12 is correct...which is not there in the choices..so you check with your book or teacher for misprint...
