Question 23989: How do you solve this 2f(5)=_________ if fx=3x+4????? thank you
Answer by rapaljer(4671)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
If f(x) = 3x + 4 then f(5) means to substitute 5 in place of all the x's that might be in the problem.

f(x) = 3x+4
f(5) = 3*5+ 4
f(5)= 15+4
f(5) =19

2f(5)
2*19
38
