Question 23643: Can you please help me find out how to do this problem!
If g(x)=x^2-4x+1 find the value if: -2g(3)

Answer by rapaljer(4671)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Given g(x)=x^2-4x+1 , then to find g(3), just substitute the 3 in place of all the x's:
g(3) = (3)^2 -4*(3)+1
g(3) = 9-12 +1 = -2

Now, -2g(3) means to take the value of g(3) and multiply times -2.
-2g(3) = -2*(-2)= 4
