x : 2,1,-1,-2,-4
y : 12, 48, 48, 12, 3
Okay, I'm supposed to divide the range difference by the domain difference. Well, obviously I have more than one difference so :
range difference : 36, 0, 9
domain difference : 1, 2
So would I divide the 36/1 = 36, 0/2 = 0, and then...9/1??? Or am I going about this entirely wrong? (like I think I am)

Not sure if this is what you want, but...
Looks like the Range difference is 48-3= 45
and the Domain difference is 2-(-4) = 6
Then 45/6 = 7 1/2
Can't imagine what you would be doing with
those numbers but....
If I had to find the equation for this set of numbers
I would plot them on an x-y axis system. Then if I
had a calculator I would run some regression tests.
