Question 218435: if f(x)=3x-5 and g(x)=x-9 which expression is equivalent to (fog)(x)

Answer by tmyrs17(1)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
if f(x)=3x-5 and g(x)=x-9 which expression is equivalent to (fog)(x)
first thing make sure you can read it (fog)(x) is read as f of g of x or (f(g(x)) to sollve you will complete it like any other function and subtitute
(f(g(x))= 3(x-9)-5
=3x-27-5
= 3x-32
to check it plug a number in and check to make sure it works for both
