Answer by nerdybill(7384) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
A company has costs and revenue functions, in dollars given by C(q)=4000 + 10q and R(q)=30q
What is the break-even point?
.
The "break-even point" is when:
"cost" = "revenue"
or
C(q) = R(q)
4000 + 10q = 30q
4000 = 20q
200 = q
