y=2/(4-x) Assuming that this is the problem.

The domain is all real numbers except x=4 because division by zero is not allowed.
There is a vertical asymptote at x=4.
There is a horizontal asymptote at y=0 because x in the denominator is a higher degree than x in the numerator.
