i can not figure out how the steps are donein these if you could please show me one example / ordered pairs..... y=2x+5:(8, ),(-1 ),( ,-1)= thankyou
-------------------
y = 2x+5
for (8,?)
Sub 8 for x and find y.
y = 2*8+5
y = 21
So the ordered pair, or the point, is (8,21)
----------------
If x = -1,
y = -2+5
y = 3
The point is (-1,3)
