Q: 6-4x=7x-9x+8
1st you would want to get all the same stuff together. So all the X's on one side and all the numbers on one side. It will be
Step 1-- 6=4x+7x-9x+8
Step 2-- 6-8=4x+7x-9x
TIP: When you take a nmber or a variable to the other side you always should change the sign (+ becomes - and - becomes +)
Now you can add or subtract.
-2=2x (Add/subtract all the x;s and all the numbers. )
2 / -2=2x / 2 (Divide both sides by 2 to get x by it self)
x = -1
