Question 173687: What is the best way to solve this equation -3x+y=12

Answer by Mathtut(3670)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
this is an equation of a line...it has infinite solutions by itself...for instance if x is 1 then -3(1)+y=12--->y=15...so one order pair is (1,15)...you can do this for any x value.....the solutions are any point you can find on that line.
