looks like x can be any number.
all values of x yield a solution that is real.
x can be positive or negative
there is nothing in this equation that would prevent x from being any number.
if the equation was g(x) = square root of x, then x could not be negative because then g(x) would not be a real number.
if g(x) was 1/x, then x could not be 0 because the result would be infinity which is not a real number.
equation as given is ok for any real value of x as far as i can tell.
domain is all values of x or all real values of x to be more specific.
