Answer by stanbon(75887)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
how do I solve p(x)=x^2-2x+3
---------
You cannot "solve" it as it stands.
-----
You can factor it:
p(x) = (x-3)(x+1)
-------
If x^2-2x+3 = 0 you can solve it.
x = 3 or x = -1
