Answer by stanbon(75887) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Is selling price for a specific item a function of markup? Explain.
-------------
Markup means raising the price 5% or 10% or 75% etc.
------------------
Say you are in charge of marking up.
You declare that item x will be marked up 10% ; does that change the
price of item x? You bet it does.
----------------------
So selling price is a function of markup.
