Question 13279: can you please solve for r in the formula S = L - Lr
Answer by bam878s(77)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Start with S=L-Lr. Factor out a L to obtain S=L(1-r). First we divide both sides by L. (S/L) = 1-r. To solve for r we add 1 to both sides. (S/L)+1=1-r+1 so r= (S/L)+1
