Question 132201: 1) Find the domain of the following:
a) f(t)=log(t-5)
b) g(x)=5e
c) g(x)=ln(x+4)
d) g(t)=5numbers of years

Answer by stanbon(75887)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Find the domain of the following:
a) f(t)=log(t-5)
t-5 must be > 0
t>5
Domain: All Real Numbers > 5
----------------------------------
b) g(x)=5e
It looks like g is a constant.
Domain is all Real Numbers
---------------------------
c) g(x)=ln(x+4)
x+4>0
x>-4
Domain is all Real Numbers greater than -4
------------------------------------
d) g(t)=5numbers of years
Looks like t is 0,1,2,3,.... or it could be the negative whole numbers also
if you count before and after.
Domain is the Natural Numbers or maybe it is the integers.
