Answer by checkley71(8403) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
X^-2=1/X^2 CHANGING A NEGATIVE EXPONENT TO A POSITIVE EXPONENT YOU PLACE THE NUMERATOR IN THE DENOMINATOR.
1/(X^-2)-(Y^-2)=X^2-Y^2 CHANGING THE NEGATIVE EXPONENT TO A POSITIVE EXPONENT YOU PLACE THE DENOMINATOR IN THE NUMERATOR.
THUS WE HAVE:
(X^2-Y^2)/X^2 ANSWER.
