Question 1187478: Q4. A set of weights includes 3 pounds and 6 pairs of weight plates. Each pair of plates weighs 20 pounds. If ‘x’ pairs of plates are added to the barbell, the total weight of the barbell and plates in pounds can be represented by f(x)=20x+4
Write the domain and range?
Answer by Boreal(15235) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
domain are all values of x, which can be 0,1,2,3,4,5,6, or integers [0, 6]
range is the values of y which are between 4 (x=0) and 124 (x=6) or [4, 124]
NOTE: I am using the given f(x), although I wonder if it should be 20x+3, since the base weight is 3 pounds, not 4, unless there is something I don't know about.
