Question 1179742: The function f(x) = 300(0.5) x/100 models the amount in pounds of a particular radioactive material stored in a concrete vault, where x is the number of years since the material was put into the vault. Find the amount of radioactive material in the vault after 120 years. Round to the nearest whole number.

Answer by ikleyn(52778)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
.

You just have a formula, and it is very good for you.

Substitute the value of x = 120  years into the formula
and calculate/compute the answer.

On the way,  you may use your calculator or any appropriate software in your computer.

I wish you to have fun doing your job.
