Question 117684: I'm not certain if this is even the right section, but I'm hoping someone can help me. I don't even know how to describe the symbol I'm seeing.
Find looks like a Roman letter E and a x that is up a bit from the line for the following set of numbers: -3.5, -1.4, -0.5, 3, 5, 1, 2
If you could help me first of all tell me what that symbol is and then how to answer the question I would really appreciate it.

-------------
The E is a Greek leter, epsilon.
It is a math symbol that tells you to add all the x-values you are given.
So, Ex = -3.5 + -1.4 + 3 + 5 + 1 + 2 = 6.1
