Question 1174779: F(x)=2x then what is f(-3),f(-1) and f(4)
Answer by Theo(13342) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
f(x) = 2x
f(-3) = 2 * -3
f(-1) = 2 * -1
f(4) = 2 * 4
in the equation of f(x), x is the argument.
in the equation of f(-1), you replace the argument of x with the argument of -1.
therefore f(x) = 2x becomes f(-1) = 2 * -1.
