Question 1160149: What is the end behavior of f(x) = 2^ -x + 5 as x goes to infinity?
Answer by Boreal(15235) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
If this is f(x)=2^(-x)+5
as x goes to infinity, 2^(-x), or 1/2^x, approaches 0 as x gets large, and the function value is 5.
Note: negative exponents do not change the overall sign.
