Question 1056795: Given f(x)= x - 6 / x-1, g(x)=x-1; find the following and their domains
A) (f+g)(x)
B) (f•g)(x)

Obviously domain must exclude +1.
All other real numbers are the domain.
Same thing here. The function is NOT the result of cancleling the factor of 1. The product is still undefined at x=1. That is the way the product is written, formed.
