Question 1038429: f(x) = 5^x + 10
How do you find the domain and range
Answer by Boreal(15235) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
5^x+10
domain is all x.
range?
look at x=-1,x=0,x=+1
x=-1, it is (1/5)+10=10.2
x=0, it is 5^0=1, 1+10=11
x=1, it is 5^1=5, 5+10=15.
This will have a horizontal asymptote in the second quadrant, approaching 10 for y.
it will rise sharply in the first quadrant.
Range is y > 10. It won't equal 10, but it approaches it.
