Question 1020693: Find the specified domain.
For f(x)=x^2-16 and g(x)=2x+3, what is the domain of g/f?
I have 3 similar problems on my homework and have been unable to get any help from the book or teacher so far. I have also tried to look at examples online but am having a hard time finding one similar to this. I would greatly appreciate any help you can offer. Thank you.

g/f is (2x+3)/(x^2-16)
The domain is where the denominator is not zero.
That would be all real numbers except x=-4 and x=4. At those points, the new function is undefined.
