Question 1006726: Landon travels 0.5 radians per minute as he rotates on a Ferris wheel.
Define a function, j, that gives Landon's horizontal distance to the right of the vertical diameter of the Ferris wheel (in radii) in terms of the number of minutes, t, that have elapsed since Landon started to rotate counter-clockwise from the 3 o'clock position

Answer by josmiceli(19441)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
I'll take a shot at it
 = time in minutes
 = radius of the wheel
------------------------
Note that when ,
the cos is negative, so that would tell you
you were not to the right of the vertical
axis of the wheel.
Hope I got it!
