Answer by addingup(3677)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Multiply both sides times -1 and you get:
x^2-2x+2=0 Subtract 2 from both sides
x^2-2x= -2 Add 1 to both sides:
x^2-2x+1= -1 Write the left side as a square:
(x-1)^2= -1 Take the square root of both sides:
x-1= i or x-1= -i Add 1 on both sides:
x= 1+i or x= 1-i
