  Functions, Domain, Range Summary

Relation--any graph (in which two variables are "related").

Function--a relation in which each value of x has a unique value of y.

Domain--Set of all (permissible) x values

Range--Set of all (resulting) y values

To find the Domain, solve for y in terms of x.

To find the Range, solve for x in terms of y.
