Question 5238: Set of all trees in the world. {Infinite Set/Finite Set}

just like the other answer...
well, philosophically there are a finite number of trees in the world. However, how would you count them? By the time you have counted them, some will have dies, been chopped and some new ones seeded. So, you will never know exactly how many trees there are or how many leaves...the number will be huge/astronomical, but by definition, it has to be finite, since infinite means never-ending, and we have a closed system (the Earth).
hope this helps
Jon.
